We want to make sure that all the girls in the academy know how to stay safe online. Each English/Language Arts class came to the library to view a presentation on Cyber Safety presented by Mrs. Thornton.

As an introduction, the students watched a Netsmartz Video which emphasizes how quickly information can be spread online. This was a springboard for a discussion on how students need to be careful when posting information online and the consequences for posting rumors.
